[ Polls & Surveys ] Open Question : I have been told identity thieves can
scan credit cards and debit cards along with any other i.d.?
while it is still in your purse. Apparently they can stand several yards
away from you and use an electronic device to do this. Can anyone tell us
if this is true? and if so, how do we protect ourselves now? Certainly we
can use cash and leave the cards at home however we still have to carry
identification such as medical cards, drivers licences, etc. How are we
meant to protect ourselves from this kind of theft?
