How do I schedule my Windows 8 computer to turn on at specific times?

I have searched on google, and all I found was instructions on how to
schedule a shut down. A question on this website - "Can my Windows 8
computer turn on by itself?" - had an answer which said "Most PCs have a
"wake up timer" in the BIOS whereby they can automatically power on at a
specific time of day." However, after spending some time finding out how
to access the boot menu on my Windows 8 computer, I did't find any way to
schedule it to turn itself on. I did find something that said "Create boot
option" which would ask me for a file path.
My computer is an ACER which already had windows 8 when I bought it, less
than a year ago. Thanks in advance.
